Wet-Membrane Evaporative Humidifier- Media

Working Principle: The wet-membrane evaporative humidifier channels clean tap water to the upper water distribution system of the membrane via the supply pipeline. Gravity causes the water to flow downward along the membrane surface, fully wetting it. As dry air passes through the moistened membrane, its humidity rises while its temperature decreases, following an isenthalpic humidification process. During this operation, a portion of the water evaporates naturally, requiring no additional energy input.

Organic Wet-Membrane

Advantages: Good water absorption, high saturation rate, lightweight, low cost.

Inorganic Glass Fiber Wet-Membrane

Advantages: Good water absorption.

Aluminum Alloy Wet-Membrane:

Advantages: Poor water absorption, low saturation efficiency, but durable, non-rotting, and can be repeatedly cleaned.

Stainless Steel Wet-Membrane

Advantages: Same as aluminum alloy wet membrane.

Working Principle: Clean tap water, passed through an electromagnetic valve, is delivered to the top water distributor of the wet membrane via the water supply pipeline. Under the influence of gravity, the water flows down along the surface of the wet membrane, wetting the membrane’s surface. The water that flows into the water collection tray is then drained through a siphon pipe to the sewage system, meaning the water is not recirculated.
