DEEP BED AIR SCRUBBER (Vertical)

Circul-Aire’s Deep Bed Air Systems (DAS) are smaller dry scrubbers filled with granular MULTI-MIX and copy media. Smaller concentrations (less than 20 ppm) require DAS dry scrubbers to efficiently remove contaminants to non-detectable levels. R&D departments have simplified the process of designing custom DAS systems allowing more versatility for the specifier and providing a superior quality/price ratio.

Working Principle: Clean tap water, passed through an electromagnetic valve, is delivered to the top water distributor of the wet membrane via the water supply pipeline. Under the influence of gravity, the water flows down along the surface of the wet membrane, wetting the membrane’s surface. The water that flows into the water collection tray is then drained through a siphon pipe to the sewage system, meaning the water is not recirculated.
